Wishing everyone a happy and safe Halloween today! Be sure to watch for the following things to make this the best one yet:
* Drive slowly and have your eyes peeled for families and little ones this evening out on the roads and sidewalks
* Take a flashlight with you and hold the hands of your trick or treaters to ensure their safety at all times
* Don't go to any houses that you are unsure of - there's no candy in the world worth the risk
* Check all candy before giving it to your kids
* Make sure your kids (and you) can see clearly through any masks - make up is a much safer alternative
* But most importantly, enjoy the evening with your families and take in the excitement on your kids' faces as they yell out 'TRICK OR TREAT!'
This past Saturday, October 26th, we held our Celebration & Recognition event at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. The event was a huge success with well over 300 people in attendance. Yesterday, October 27th, we participated in Trucks to Touch at the Cayuga Speedway. This was a free event put on by Haldimand Norfolk R.E.A.C.H. and was a hit with everyone who attended. It was a crisp and sunny fall day and we were proud to participate for the 3rd year in a row. 1 company driver and 2 owner operators worked hard to shine up their trucks and trailers for all the kids from babies to 99 to explore and get their pictures taken. Our guys also signed enough autographs for the kids to feel like celebrities! A huge thank you to Kota Kinniburgh, Jeff Black and Albert Beckham for your participation in this event. What a great way to get involved with our community and inspire some of our local kids.

Recently Mike Glen's daughter, Taylor, submitted an article to the Hamilton Spectator as part of her High School Communications class in the hopes that they would print it and she would receive 100% on the project! They did in fact print her article and we have the link below if you'd like to read it. It is very well written and highlights the importance of art and creativity in life. Congratulations Taylor, and congratulations also to Mike and his wife Gina; it appears you have a very intelligent and focused daughter at home!
Happy Birthday Brent Perchuk!! Hope you have a great day!!

We want to thank everyone in the shop who participated in our mini photoshoot last week. Sometimes it's not easy being in front of the camera and we understand that, but you boys did a fantastic job for us and we're excited to use some of these shots for some of our upcoming marketing ventures. Thanks so much!!!
Effective today, Brian Dunford is no longer with Contrans Flatbed Group. We wish him well in his future.
