Please see attached letter "Acknowleding Success of our 2012 Safety Elements!" Congrats to all.
A big congratulations goes out to our Movember winner – Ty Montague, a mechanic at our 3rd line shop. The voting was very close but the ladies of our workplace have spoken. Ty was presented with a shaving gift set and we will be donating $250 to men’s cancers in his name.
Photos of all our participants can be found under Event Photos. Ty is photo#4.
Thank you to everyone for your participation. This was a fun event in the name of a great cause. Your support is greatly appreciated. Now you can dust off razors until next year!
Dave Nawton will be leaving Tri-Line Carriers next Friday. After nearly 20 years in front line safety roles, Dave has chosen to take another career path and will be joining Northbridge Insurance as a Loss Prevention officer.
Dave joined our company when we were days (hours!!) away from losing our operating authority due to a terrible safety and compliance performance. He designed systems lead all of us to work together to build a strong culture of safety within our organization – including being recognized as an Alberta PIC carrier – a designation reserved for carriers of excellence.
I am excited to announce that Shelley Chayeski will assume Dave’s responsibilities. Shelley has worked with side by side with Dave in designing our safety programs and has an in depth knowledge of their design. Going forward, Shelley is charged with the task of managing the programs that Dave has designed.
Please join me in thanking Dave for a great 5 years with Tri-Line and welcoming Shelley into her new role.
Happy Birthday Cory Rice (CFG) and Doug Kowalyshyn (CFG)! We hope you both have a fantastic day!
Congratulations Jennifer Forbes on 10 years with Brookville Carriers! Jennifer began in Truro working in the admin department and eventually moved into operations at the time of the amalgamation with General Freight. Since then, she has become both an excellent dispatcher as well as a fantastic fleet manager. In addition to her operational skills, Jennifer can also be counted on to solve any in house computer issues whenever we need her! Travelling a significant distance to work every day and juggling two young children at home, Jennifer is an incredibly dedicated employee who we couldn’t be happier to call our own. Thank you Jennifer for everything!
Please see attached for details on a goodbye luncheon for Jessica before her last day.
The October KFA's have been posted in the Employee Blog section.
Happy Birthday Ted McDougall (CFG)! Hope you have a great day!

Happy Birthday goes out to Jenna Dosanjh (Tri). Hope you enjoy your day!
